Distribution Clerk/Outreach Driver #2013-17 (Shawnee)  Aids in the unloading of USDA Commodity Food shipments, assures accurate counts upon receipt, placement of perpetual sheets on received pallets, storing received food on first in, first out basis. Opens and moves USDA commodity food from warehouse as directed to stock/restock store(s), pulls commodity food needed for tailgate truck and helps load food onto truck. Aids in the daily physical inventory of store(s), tailgate truck inventory, and monthly physical inventory of warehouse(s), tailgate truck, and store(s). Certifies home delivery participants at their residence and insures certification is in full compliance with the USDA regulations in the FNS 501 Handbook.  Enters household data on AIS system, prepares and enters all necessary document verification for the case file, maintains certification log, and sets up next appointment for home delivery.  Responsible for the accuracy of distribution levels to participants by checking I.D. distribution cards, or eligibility letter for correct household size. Operates large equipment, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and truck(s) in loading, unloading and stocking in preparation for distribution and transporting USDA commodity foods. Ensures safe driving of vehicles and equipment, receipt, storage, and distribution practices of the Nation’s Safety Procedures. Assists in the maintenance of warehouse, vehicles, and equipment as assigned by Distribution Manager. Performs other related work as assigned. Tribal Administrator #2013-14 (Stroud)  To plan, direct, manage, oversee and review the overall activities and operations of the Sac and Fox Nation.  To coordinate the Nations activities with other outside agencies and organizations; to prepare and administers the Nations budget; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Sac and Fox Nation Business Committee.  The Tribal Administrator is responsible to the Business Committee.  Tribal Administrator is responsible to the Business Committee for the administration of the headquarters office and for proper interpretation and fulfillment of all his/her functions, responsibilities, authority, and relationships.  Serves as overall liaison to all program advisory committees.  Maintains personal contacts with staff, the Business Committee, and the public to the greatest degree possible. Directs supervises the work of the administrative support staff.  Responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of the Sac and Fox Nation’s management information system. Plans, formulates, and recommends for the approval of the Business Committee basis policies and programs that will further the objects of the Sac and Fox Nation.  Produces statistical reports, analyses, and exhibits for internal use by other management staff and the Business Committee, and for external reporting to federal, state, and local funding and regulatory agencies. Executes all decisions of the Business Committee except when other assignment is specifically made by the Business Committee.  Maintains the Sac and Fox Nation’s administrative policy and procedures manual.  Develops, for the purposes of day-to-day administration, specific policies, procedures, and programs to implement the general policies established by the Business Committee. Assumes direct responsibility for personnel administration functions.  Provides the necessary liaison and staff support to committee chairs and to committee members to enable them to properly perform their functions.  Sees that committee decisions and recommendations are submitted, or by established policies. Plans and executes communication to Sac and Fox Nation’s clientele, including newsletter, general mailings, news releases, etc. Establishes a sound organization structure for the Sac and Fox Nation’s central office and administrative operations.  Directs and coordinates approved programs, projects and major activities of the staff. Obtains maximum utilization of the staff by clearly defining duties, establishing performance standards, conducting performance reviews, and recommending competitive salary structure. Act in the best interest of the majority of the Business Committee and the community. Advise the Business Committee on the implications of different actions under consideration. Develop, plan and implement a strategic plan that addresses the Vision for the Business Committee of the Sac and Fox Nation; recommend and administrator policies and procedures; research Business Committee requests regarding policy; prepare and submit recommendations. Develop a well-trained management team of department heads able to respond quickly to the changing needs of the Nation.  Select, train, motivate and evaluate managerial personnel; implement discipline and termination procedures when needed. Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the Nation’s organizational structure, staffing patterns, service levels and administrative systems; implement continuous process improvements. Respond to citizen inquiries and resolve difficult and sensitive complaints; assign personnel to handle and resolve complaints in a timely manner; solve unique problems not solved at the department level, or not under any one department’s jurisdictions, or have the potential to have considerable public impact. Develop processes that encourage citizen input into the decision-making process. Identify social, economic and technological trends at the federal, state and local level having the potential to affect what services the local government will provide and the way they will be provided, and plan accordingly in the Nation’s best interest. Communicate with all employees about what the Nations’ plans are for the future and the part they can play in accomplishing those plans; encourage the employees in each department to develop a vision and strategic plan for their future. Be flexible, able to look at issues from all sides, patient and professional in all circumstances when conducting the affairs of the SFN. Have a command of technology and its application to the affairs of Tribal government. Be a spokesperson for the tribal government, its policies and its programs. Attend Sac and Fox Nation functions in the absence of the elected officials. Perform ceremonial functions in the absence of the Chief and Second Chief. Intervenes through court appearances, tribal contacts and meetings with federal, state and local agencies to prevent the breakup of Indian families. Search and identify Indian foster care and Indian adoptive parents on a continuing basis to keep the Indian child close to his/her family values. Provide home visits and evaluations on prospective foster homes, existing foster home and families ordered by the court and/or Sac and Fox Foster home licensing commission. Develop and maintain community based services and resources that can be utilized for the benefit of the clients/families. Coordinate activities with on-going tribal, state and federal agencies to enhance the services to the clientele. Implements intervention plans and instructional program in cooperation with other professional and para-professional staff. Maintains files, data as required, for purposes of record keeping and client referral, tracking and follow-up. Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to supervisor. Maintain budget and recommends changes in budget for modification to meet the needs of the program. Maintains Foster parent files; Prepares regular and special reports for the Indian Child Welfare Director as required; Maintains Contract files, monitors reporting requirements and budget line items; Gather necessary information to determine the needs of the child; Interpret policies and procedures of all programs; Provide casework management updates and revision of client case plans; Assist in the coordination of the activities of the Indian Child Welfare department, Self-Governance compact program, Indian Child Welfare program, Child Welfare Services Title IV-B subpart 1, Promoting Safe and Stable Families Title IV-B, subpart 2; Interprets and explains rules and regulations governing eligibility, methods of payments and legal rights of tribal members in relation to programs; Performs intake process to record and evaluate personal and financial data obtained from applicants to determine initial or continuing eligibility; Administers intake process of programs and submits required reports. Observes soft count and hard count.  Minimum bankroll verification.  Monitors cash counts and casino cage reconciliation.  Monitors gaming machine installs, modifications and removals. Prepares reports and reviews findings with the Gaming Commission and casino management.  Reviews Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.  Completes other duties and special projects as required. Ability to obtain a gaming license from the Sac and Fox Gaming Commission.  College degree preferred.  Compliance/Regulatory experience and knowledge of casino operations preferred.  Applicant must successfully pass an OSBI/National background check and Drug Screen. Preference in hiring is given to qualified Native Americans.  Applicants claiming Indian Preference must provide a copy of their CDIB. Open continuously.

Economic Development Director #2011-54 (Stroud) Plans, organizes, directs, and manages all phases of the activities and operations consisting of Tribal economic development, redevelopment of existing enterprises, and development of enterprises utilizing Tribal lands and cultural distinctiveness. The position is a director classification reporting directly to the Business Committee. Responsible for the planning, administration, and operation of potential economic development activities, performs responsible and innovative administrative management in support of the Nation's goals and objectives.   Eight years of increasingly responsible professional experience in economic development and related activities. At least four years of this experience must have been at a managerial level with responsibility for program planning and development, supervision of professional, technical, and clerical staff, and budget preparation and management.  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public or business administration, planning, economics, or other closely related field. A master’s degree in public administration; a master's degree in business administration; or a closely related field is desirable.   Applicant must successfully pass an OSBI/National background check and Drug Screen.
