Sac and Fox Nation Temporarily Suspends Casino Operations
(Stroud, Oklahoma)- Sac and Fox Nation officials temporarily suspended all casino operations effective at
12:01 a.m. on March 19, 2020 through Wednesday, April 1st, 2020
(Shawnee, Oklahoma)- The Sac and Fox Nation Business Committee recently announced the purchase of Shawnee Trophy. The Sac and Fox Nation’s newly formed company, Shawnee Trophy, a Sac and Fox Nation Limited Liability Company, purchased the business from longtime owners Randy and Ruthi Loftis.
(Stroud, Oklahoma)- The Sac and Fox Nation Business Committee confirmed their support today for the Cherokee, Chickasaw and Choctaw Nations as they filed a Federal lawsuit to bring an end to the gaming compact renewal dispute. The Sac and Fox Nation is not a party to the lawsuit, but the Business Committee stands united with their fellow Nations.
(Stroud, Oklahoma)- The Sac and Fox Nation Business Committee hosted representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for a meeting and press conference at the Sac and Fox Nation on October 10th. EPA Deputy Regional Administrator David Gray unveiled the agency’s plan to reduce lead exposure in drinking water for children and at-risk communities at the press conference.
