The Chicago Blackhawks are optimistic as we start our partnership work together, the beginning of what we hope will be a strong and long-term allyship. And we understand that the resolution that passed at the end of August to establish a partnership between the Chicago Blackhawks and Sac & Fox Nation was the very first step of a process to build relationships and trust with the entire tribe. We also heard and believe that transparency will be such an important piece of this partnership going forward. With that in mind, we are pleased to share our first update with the tribe on the work we have been focused on in the early days of our partnership.

Sac and Fox Nation Voluntary Vaccination Incentive Policy
The Sac and Fox Nation (SFN) is implementing a voluntary vaccination policy effective September 30, 2021 regarding COVID vaccination(s) for SFN Tribal Members and SFN employees. In accordance with SFN’s duty to provide and maintain a workplace / Tribal community that is free of COVID, we strongly encourage SFN Tribal Members and SFN employees to receive this vaccination to minimize the risk of COVID in our workplace and Tribal community. In making this decision, the Business Committee reviewed recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and local health officials, Indian Health Services and our Tribal health system.
CARES ACT
TRIBAL EMERGENCY WATER REPAIR PROGRAM
PROGRAM FUNCTIONS:
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this program is to help alleviate the public health and safety needs of eligible tribal members with clean water. By assisting with emergency water repairs, such as but not limited to not having running water, issues with water wells, plumbing issues with water lines, sewer lines, septic tanks, leach lines, lagoons, hot water heaters, toilets, sinks and showers. Tribal Emergency Water Repair Program is established for tribal members living within and outside of the jurisdiction who need emergency assistance on getting running water to their homesteads and/or emergency repairs as mentioned above. This program is open to all tribal members owning a home which is their primary place of residence.

The Sac and Fox Education Department will be taking the PPE Assistance Application for the Pre-K thru 12th grade students, Collage and Vocational Students. One time assistance for Fall 2021 school term for PPE supplies: facial masks, hand sanitizer, Clorox or Lysol Wipes, Clorox, Lysol disinfectant spray, kleenex, tissue etc…
PLEASE POSTAL MAIL IN THE APPLICATION. DO NOT HAND DELLIVER OR FAX, EMAIL, SCAN APPLICATION WE WIL NOT ACCEPT YOUR APPLICATION, ONLY POSTAL MIAL IN APPLICATION.
SEND IN APPLICATION, HAVE SCHOOL SIGN OR PROOF OR ENROLLMENT, SEND IN W-9 AND TRIBAL ENROLLMENT CARD. WE WILL NOT PROCESS IF YOU DO NOT SEND IN ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS.
