The Sac and Fox Nation Business Committee announces the receipt of a deposit in the amount of $20,444,306.94 on May 20th, 2021. According to the United States Department of the Treasury, this is the first of two installments that will be allocated to the Sac and Fox Nation. The second allocation amount has yet to be disclosed to the Nation. The U.S. Treasury has issued some guidance and FAQs regarding eligible uses of American Rescue Plan allocations. (Stroud, Oklahoma)- The Sac and Fox Business Committee announced today that they have agreed to an extension with the State of Oklahoma on the Tobacco Tax Compact (“Compact”).

The Sac and Fox Nation Business Committee announced a total of $19,594.00 will be donated to five local schools to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) for students, faculty, and staff. The funding is from the Sac and Fox Nation local government operations donations budget.
