Nutrition Services

Our Nutrition Services program serves meals at our congregate meal site in Stroud Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and breakfast on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  Elders are served first, free of charge, and guest meals are available for purchase once all Elders have been served at a cost of $4.00 for lunches and $3.00 for breakfast.

Home Delivered Meals are provided to eligible clients residing within jurisdiction that are unable to travel to the congregate meal site due to a medical condition, general health issues, or lack of transportation.  Priority is given to those who are home-bound due to a medical condition or illness and others may receive home delivery based on availability of funds.  Elders must be home to receive their meals at the time of delivery or they must notify the kitchen that they will not be home.  Meals will not be left unattended at an Elder’s home.  If a meal is returned for two consecutive days, the Elder’s delivery will be placed on hold until the Elder calls to request re-delivery.
