Johnson O’Malley Program

The Sac and Fox Nation Johnson O’Malley Program is a comprehensive program that encompasses academic education, cultural awareness and community involvement according to the guidelines of the federal regulations governing the JOM programs.  The Sac and Fox Nation JOM program provides assistance to ensure that all of the 11 school districts within the program service area (Lincoln, Payne and Pottawatomie counties) are in compliance with the federal guidelines and that each JOM site provides parental support and involvement that will ultimately result in the academic success of our Native American students.

JOM funding is used for:

  • Tutoring
  • School Supplies
  • ACT fees and other items
  • Cultural Awareness
  • Educational Support
  • Academic Summer Programs
  • Indian Education Committee
  • JOM Program Staff
  • School Related Fees

Eligible Indian students must meet the following criteria:

  1.  Attending any level of Pre-K through Grade 12
  2. Member of a federally recognized tribe with a degree of blood acceptable to be enrolled within their tribe and verifiable through acceptable documentation, i.e. the student’s CDIB card.
  3. Be enrolled in a public school served by the Sac and Fox Nation JOM program.
