Vocational Technical School Incentive

Due to limited funds, the program will be administered on a first come, first served basis to enrolled Sac and Fox college students who obtain a 3.0 or higher grade point average for the current term at an accredited vocational technical school.  (Students receiving a P for a grade must submit a letter, on letterhead from the instructor explaining the program criteria.)  The maximum amount of the award per student is as follows:

• Full time students in a 1-2 year academic program may be awarded $500/semester (quarter, trimester).
• Full time students in a 9 month or less program will be awarded a one-time grant of $500.
• Students enrolled in part time/evening classes will receive a one-time grant of $250.

Only undergraduate students pursuing a first time Associate Degree or certificate may apply.  Awards are limited to a maximum of 4 semesters (quarters, trimesters), including summer school for full time students and 8 awards for part time students.

Student must complete the education incentive application with all required information to the Education office.  Incomplete applications will not be processed.

• Students must submit proof of enrollment in the Sac and Fox Nation, i.e., copy of membership card.
• Student must submit application and all required information to the Education Office.
• Student must submit official transcript to verify GPA compliance and enrollment status.
• Students must sign and submit the privacy statement.

Students dually enrolled in college and vocational technical school shall not collect both college and vocational technical incentives in the same academic year.
